Privacy Policy

Checkpoint402 has no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising. We collect as little as we can to run a pay-per-request service. This page explains exactly what that is.
What we keep
For each paid request we store:
- which service was paid for and the price
- the paying wallet address and the payment transaction ID (both are already public on the blockchain)
- the date and time
We also keep daily counts of requests per service. We do not store the contents of your requests (such as the ticker, name or wallet you asked about) in our database.
If you contact us
Messages sent through the contact form keep the name, message and optional reply email you enter, so we can answer. We delete them when they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our hosting providers (Railway and Vercel) automatically keep short-term technical logs, which can include your IP address and the address you requested. They are used only to keep the service running and fix problems.
Who your request is shared with
To answer you, the details of your request are sent to the data source that holds the answer: public blockchain nodes, the SEC, DefiLlama, GoPlus or GeckoTerminal. Some answers include a plain-English summary written by an AI model from Anthropic, which receives the facts being summarized. We never send your wallet or IP address to these sources, and we never sell or rent any data.
Cookies
The public website uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
Blockchain payments are public
Payments are made on the Base blockchain, where every transaction is permanently public. We cannot hide or delete on-chain records.
Sanctions screening of payers
Before accepting a payment, we check the paying wallet against the US Treasury OFAC sanctions list, as US law requires us not to do business with sanctioned parties.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can ask what we hold about a wallet address you control, or ask us to delete our off-chain records of it, by contacting us below. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may also request this information under their state’s law. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13.
